The 1900s
Ah the ruffle. That flounce that no era could bear to leave out. Ruffles on skirts, ruffles on blouses, ruffles on dresses, even ruffles on underpinnings! We women (and men!) can't quite get enough of this texture building beauty block. I could have gone waaaay further back in time, but today, in expectation of this weekend's Sunday Snag, I wanted to bring you a taste of what our ruffled past has been (at least for the first half of the 20th century).
