Years ago, the trail leading to Mount Mitchell's summit on the Blue Ridge Parkway was similar to this. Over the years they updated the trail and it's easier to walk. I wonder where this leads? Nice picture! Now following via Wordless Wednesday hop. ~Cathy Kennedy's Blog!
Thanks Cathy and thanks for visiting! This trail is actually in a little village in Scotland and it was beautiful. The whole park and village were lovely. ;-)
Thanks for your comment, I appreciate the support ^^ It's quite exciting opening the new shop up ^^ And this is a beautiful picture, it reminds me of somewhere nearby...I need to get out of this house! :P
Interesting how the trail has 'speed bumps'. The moss on the side stones reveal that it is an old trail, but my mind is trying to figure out the 'why' on having stones lay across the path. Serene area......is there a 'No Running' sign somewhere? LOL Makes me want to visit and see for myself '-D Nice WW!
LOL! So, they are actually there as steps. It is a really really old path and the hill that it is on is sloping upward. You actually have to climb the path, but, yes, I wouldn't advice running! ;-)
Excited to follow you on Twitter :). Your blog is fantastic! Happy to know you and follow along with whatever other great things you come up with. Keep up the great work sista! xox Ash@ABpetite http://abpetite.blogspot.com/

ReplyDeleteVery nice photo, Jamie! Seems like a tranquil place.
ReplyDeleteCompletely was. So calm and magical too.
DeleteYes...so serene and tranquil! That's the kind of soothing place I'd imagine in my head if I need a calm place to go.
ReplyDeleteIt totally is! I will have to think about that the next time I'm stressed out!
DeleteNice picture! Cool walkway.

Thanks for visiting! And yes, if you are in the UK, that probably is somewhere nearby and you should definitely get out and explore! ;-)
