Accessories with a Story to Tell
I love crepe myrtles! The peeling bark adds to their beauty year round.
They really are very pretty! Their flowers are beautiful too!
Oh wow :) that is so beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing :)
Do you have crepe myrtles in England? I had never seen one until moving to North Carolina.
That is one beautiful tree! Never heard of crepe myrtles before - oh well - thanks for showing it to us.
They are really gorgeous Claudia! They bloom in lavender, pink, fuchsia, white, etc. and the flowers are in cone clusters that are so pretty!
your taste is so good.
Thank you? ;-) My taste in trees astounds me too! Hahaha!

I'd like to hug that tree.
HAHA! :-) Those feelings definitely well up in me too!
The bark on that tree is gorgeous! I haven't seen one before, but I love awesome trees & that one qualifies. :)
This is an asian variety. The ones that are usually around this area are a taupe and cream version, but just as pretty!
The base of the tree is huge...what a great backdrop this would make for photos.Laurie
It totally would! I think they may have weddings there.
What an amazing tree! Reminds me of something you'd find in Terebithia :)
I didn't say where I was when I took this pic... ;-)
