What is it about pomegranate that is so seductive? Others have thought so throughout the centuries as well, as the pomegranate has been a symbol of abundance and fertility for many cultures. Maybe it's the color, a life giving blood tone or maybe it's that it holds hundreds of tiny seeds, the very start of life and hope. Regardless, it is an inspiring fruit for which this gorgeous treasury was created. Curated by Sinéad from Irish Viking Designs, this collection features some luscious finds, including wire, photographic, and contemporary art. My square button ring "Cinnamon Sally" found herself in this pretty mix too!

Lovely selection! I adore the cosmetic bag, so cute for mother's day:)
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful selection! You know I absolutely adore pomegranate - the way it looks (those tiny pieces remind me of garnet stones) and the flavour. But my skin HATES it with passion. I can eat the fruit, but even a tiny amount of pomegranate in my cosmetics causes a massive and very angry allergic reaction on my skin. Funny, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteI also love the vintage red orange dress, you do find the nicest things! When I was very small mum used to send me off to pre-school with a pomegranate and a pin so that I could pick out the seeds and eat them at lunch time. Pretty dangerous when you think about it!
ReplyDeleteThere is such a captivating vibrancy, energy and loveiness to this colour palette. It seems so very fitting for the fiery summer months that lay ahead.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs & oodles of thanks for all of your wonderful blog comments this week, honey!
