Such splendidly pretty blooms! Though we didn't plant them (they were here before we moved in), there are a couple of wee little purple irises that bloom in the (equally wee) patch of soil on our front lawn each spring, which are so cheerful and lovely.
Love the purple! Isn't it supposed to be the sacred flower to the goddess of the rainbow, Iris?
