Friday Photo Swoon – Beaded Beauty

Beaded antique photographs of 1920s women

These are heavenly. Superbly decadent even. 
These are copies of antique photos taken by Alfred Cheney Johnston of 1920s/30s women. They were then beaded by modern day artist Binka Rigava of BinkaMinka. I found this posted on The Jealous Curator and had to reblog it. The beadwork is absolutely exquisite and such a novel way to re-imagine these photographs.
