Thursday Thrill – Pearl

Fine art photo of Florentine Jewelry Box

June, that mirrored breath of both spring and summer, lowers her lashes from that first bloom's blush and casts her gaze toward ever lengthening days, those filled with love's bright rush.

Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light:
and the landscape lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood."

  3. I am in love with the collar - what a stunning piece!
Adore pearls very much - wish I had a pair of earrings or a necklace... I like the fact that they are sort of alive and only glow if you touch or wear them frequently. x

    1. I'm so glad you liked this one! Actually, all the bits of poetry, including this one, that appear at the top of these birthstone posts are written by me. If you go back through starting with the first one this January, you can see a storyline develop. Hopefully, sometime in December I'll do a post combining all of them as a recap of the year. Thank you again Caroline, that really means a lot that you liked this! ;-)

  10. Magnificently lovely! There is no such thing as too many pearls (or mother-of-pearl items) in my books.
