    1. They're carnivorous plants! Insects fall into the pitcher where some juices from the plant kill and dissolve them, thus providing food to the plant! Thus the title Deadly Beauty!

  4. Oh my gosh! What beautiful flowers. I look at flowers closely for their wonderful shapes and colors and have never seen any like these.

  13. Gorgeous! These blooms are quite similar in colour to some heavy flocked damask curtains I used to have hanging in our old living room. I just love deep, rich reds and burgundies like this!!!
