Today I'm inviting you to my very first fashion link-up!! Are you mad about plaid? I most certainly am and it is quickly filling my closet. I would love to see what bits of plaid loveliness you all have in your closet too!
The lovely Helen Mae from Lovebirds Vintage (a super cute blog written by a super cute vintage lovin' darling) very keenly noticed that we may be competing to see who the world's vintage plaid collection can go to first! I had noticed that she dons a lot of pretty plaids and apparently she noticed the trend in me too because she contacted me about holding a Plaid Event. Well, I most certainly joined up on that idea and here it is! A Plaid Linkup to show off your most loved plaids!!
Linkup Rules
Your outfits don't have to be vintage. We are an equal opportunity plaid community here! All that we ask is that you follow both my blog and Helen Mae's over at Lovebirds Vintage. Then link up your outfit (or as many as you'd like! We added lots!) below. If you are not a blogger, but still love plaid and want to link up, just send me your photo at chatterblossom !@! gmail !.! com and I will gladly link it up for you.
The linkup will be up for a full week, so you have plenty of time to get a photo of your fave plaids and come back to share them. Make sure to hop around and visit some fellow plaid lovers! I tend to think they are pretty special people. :-)
Bonus!
We will be selecting a few of our favorites from the link-up to highlight in a post next week! Yay!

This is such pretty plaid inspiration, beautiful outfits!
ReplyDeleteOhhh I LOVE plaid, what a fun competition! Both of you ladies have some beautiful outfits :)
ReplyDeleteI cheated a bit here by using 2 gingham pieces.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue dress by Lovebirds vintage and then your purple plaid is a stunner. Would have been a perfect dress for the Swing Out To Victory dance we are going to this weekend. I'm still trying to choose which dress I will wear. I'd love your input if you get a chance. I have 2 of the outfits up already.
BTW…I wanted to let you know that you inspired me to create the hair clip I made for my girlfriend's outfit for the dance.
We are both copying your excellent hair and lips : )
Thanks for hosting!
bisous
Suzanne
Your black and white gingham dress would be perfect for swing dancing! Lots o' twirl!
DeleteAnd that is wonderful that you very sweetly made a hair clip for your friend. Take a pic! I would love to see both of you in all your loveliness!!
Hi Jamie, love plaid! What a great idea, I'm sending you a link to my favorite plaid outfit.
ReplyDeleteWow, I can see why it is your fave Joanna! That is gorgeous!
DeleteClearly, I am mad about plaid! I didn't realize I had quite so much of it until I started linking up the posts. I didn't even share all of them. I would like to extend my utmost plaiditude to you for letting me share my love of this print.
ReplyDeleteCheers!

ReplyDeleteSo fabulous! I adore plaid dresses and yours is particularly pretty. Will have to see if I have a post with a plaid dress in it.

ReplyDeleteLove this fabulously fun idea, dear ladies!!! Plaid is one of those patterns - much like classic florals and tiny polka dots - that I can never, ever get enough of (especially in vintage form!).
ReplyDeleteBig hugs,
♥ Jessica

ReplyDeleteHello Jamie dear! I love especially when plaid is donned in delicate pastel hues. It's do trendy and retro at the same time! Hope you are well my darling :-)
