Well this is it, ladies and gentlemen, the end of December and the end of another year. I don't know about all of you, but I thoroughly enjoyed 2013 and hope the new year is half as good as this one! I had my 10 year anniversary, turned 31 years old, celebrated my first full year as ChatterBlossom with my shop and blog, and saw the first year of my vintage fashion fling bloom into a full blown love affair. December was just grand with holidays and time with family and I'm ready to welcome in January tomorrow.
This treasury is an official send off for December, the month of turquoise. Cristina, from Lettera p Sy, curated this lovely grouping of pretty bits of turquoise and blue daisies. My wee blue daisy hair pin, "Blue Skies", even got to be at the top with that lovely 1950s ceramic lady! To me, the simple beauty of this collection seemed perfectly suited to give the farewell to 2013.

I like pinecones, we have quite a few pine cone ornaments we put on our Christmas Tree each year. :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic selection, thank you very much for your feature!!!
ReplyDeleteHello Jamie, I just called in to wish you a Happy New Year and found lots more lovely things in turquoise (my favourite colour). I’ve missed several of your posts over Christmas but will enjoy catching up with them in 2014.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, thank you for your friendship and visits to my blog, I appreciate each and every one of them. Barbara x
PS the blue daisy earnings are scrumptious.
Thank you Barbara!! I've really enjoyed "meeting" you through the blogosphere! Your comments always make me feel good and so does your blog with all its wonderment and childlike fun!
DeleteYay! I'm delighted to know that you had a terrific 2013! There were some definite highlights throughout it for me (hello, awesome Calgary trip), but as a whole it won't be getting the MVP trophy anytime soon. Oh well - 'tis life. Some years are better than others and you've got to roll with the punches and curveballs, hoping all the while for sunnier days around the corner.
ReplyDeleteFrom the bottom of my heart, I'm wishing a joyful New Year and countless reasons to smile and be happy all throughout 2014, dear friend!
♥ Jessica
How cute is the 'look-alike' between you and the lady of the vintage brooch! Wishing you and your family a very happy new year, Jamie, and congratulations on all the milestones.
