MMmmmm, pickled garlic sounds good! I've never done that before.
This picture is from when I worked on an organic farm last year. We had pulled up an entire truck bed full of garlic by hand and this was the end result after it cured and was braided. We grew hard necked garlic to but those you can't braid. We sold it at 3 farmer's markets and had a CSA. It was wonderful!!
Garlic, lots and lots. I can never get enough of it.. I use garlic in just about anything I cook... Yum yum!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your lovely day Jamie!
Me too!! A meal without garlic is ridiculous! ;-)

Thank you Claudia! Those braids were so pretty after we finished making them that I couldn't resist taking their pic!
DeleteGorgeous!!! I so need to plant garlic next year.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely should. This is soft necked (which is why you can braid it) and it is delicious! Thank you for visiting!
DeleteWow! How much garlic do you yield in a year? Can you make it through the garlic before it dries? Do you sell it? Pickle it? Yum!
