Wedding season is upon us! June is one of the most selected months for tying the knot (I selected it for my wedding too!). That said, I felt it would be appropriate to introduce you to one of my bridal pieces on this 1st day of June.
Aptly named in a pun-worthy manner, this hair fascinator is made with soft peony petals in the whitest of ivories. I created her with a 1920's feel and you can see my Art Deco inspiration in the golden vintage accent and fun flapper feathers.
To create my hairstyle in the first photo, I just pulled all my hair back into a low unsecured pony and twisted it up. I tucked in the loose edges and then slowly turned the twist over kind of like you would with a french twist. I just maneuvered it until it was in a crescent like shape and secured it with spirals and bobby pins. Then just clip in the fascinator and your set!
You may have noticed my new profile photo. I've been trying out pin curls and LOVE them! I've retaken many of my photos in shop with the hair flowers in my pin curled hairstyle if you want to check them out! Click here to get overwhelmed with photos of my face ya'll! :-)

I love the idea of feathers on a headpiece. Very soft and lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour hair styles, pulled back and with the pin curls, are so pretty and I love that you're modeling your hair pieces - it really shows off the beauty of your work. I can definitely see this fascinator in a June wedding - stunning!
