  13. A copperhead, yikes! Talk about an unwanted (though very beautiful) guest. We have some poisonous snakes around these parts, too, chief amongst which are rattlesnakes. I've never had one show up at our house, but I have heard the distinct sound of their vibrating tails a few times when out in nature around the Okanagan.
