Time for round two in the autumn/winter fashion recap! Something I noticed from Part One (see here) is that it has a slightly darker color tone. Not in the clothes necessarily but in the light. I couldn't at first think why that was but it was rather obvious. The farther into autumn, the less leaves on the trees to add shade to the photos. I kinda loved this because even though the air was getting brisker and colder, the photos were coming out warmer. Fun to see the change in each photograph. It's also quite a learning experience as I've never taken photos like these before this last year. Every photo-shoot is a "keep your fingers crossed that something works" experiment.
Like last week, I would love to hear your thoughts and favorites! Seriously, you shy little birds. Everyone was sharing such sweet comments about loving all of them and I truly appreciate and adore you for that. But I'm very interested in your, shall we say, specific thoughts. Don't you worry your pretty little heads about somehow accidentally offending me. Believe you me, that is hard to do!

Last Week's Sunday Snag:
I really enjoy looking at your very inspiring outfits since I recently discovered your blog. You look really great in your jeans. I don't wear jeans at the moment, in fact I have only recently bought some pants, but I may be tempted to buy some jeans like yours. They fit so well.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rebecca! Yes, I'm really happy with my jeans. They are comfy and at least a little high waisted. They would be absolutely perfect if they were only an 1" or 2" higher on the waist. ;-)
DeleteHow gorgeous you look and how wonderful you pull all these vintage looks together. These outfits were made for you :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and sorry on my slightly late response. I follow back on gfc #659 and bloglovin #510. Keep in touch :) xx

Amazing outfits, stunning beauty. Looking at your blog is the visual equivalent to eating candy. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteHello Jamie, I have no hesitation in saying my favourite is ----- all of them!!! Just kidding! 1960s Picking Pansies comes top of my list, closely followed by Mid Century Fox & The Houndstooth. Why do I like them? Because the colours are just so bright and cheerful, and looking at them makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! Still loving the cape, but how did I miss that gorgeous fur?!? Amazing pieces!
ReplyDeleteYou look like you've stepped right out of a movie screen! Fabulous looks/pictures!

So many of these clothes are about details and I think this is what I appreciate about vintage the most - they paid attention to the finishing touches even when making clothes for, what I'd refer to as high street. x
ReplyDeleteYou are borned for this kind of style, you got such a natural elegance and beauty. All the clothes are fantastic, love the 4th shot, you are very beautiful! Kisses Jamie! xo
ReplyDeleteYou look stunning! I love all these classic looks!

You are wonderful in every photo! I find it impossible to chose one...I love the5th , but the jacket in the 6th is really extra cute!
ReplyDeleteThe red jacket in the second photo suits you perfectly! And... do you know, you remind me an Italian actress:Sofia Loren!!!
Oh gracious what a compliment that is! She was truly just raw beauty and if absolutely any aspect of me reminds you of her, that is praise indeed!
Deleteevery image is the epitome of loveliness

This is the kind of post that one needs to scroll through and savour a few times (at least!). I loved getting to see more of your immensely lovely, beautifully colour coordinated outfits again. I've never done a seasonal or annual wardrobe recap before, but I'm thinking that (far in advance as it may be now) that one should finally appear on CV come the end of 2014.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs & tons of happy New Year wishes!!!
♥ Jessica
You should, you should!! I would love to see that!
DeleteThank you all so much for wandering down memory lane of autumn outfits with me! You and all your comments are so lovely and I loved sharing each piece with you! :-)
